Wonderful night

The major event for yesterday evening, 24th of September, was the concert presented by the Nanyang Polytechinc Chinese Orchestra. To me, it's not only just the Chinese Orchestra, i think it's the combination of both east and west.
The title for the concert is "Growing Up", featuring familiar favourites that we've all come to love, each bearing special memories of the good old days of our youth and childhood. So favourite hits includes Teresa Teng evergreens like "Tian Mi Mi" as well as theme songs from popular drama hits like "Shang Hai Tan". We, the yonger audience, were entertained with more recent hits like "Lemon Tree".
The performance was superb. The Orchestra led by the conductor was perfect. The Orchestra played the "Mandala" written by Kitaro. And not forgetting the solo by the violinist. She played the song "Dan Yuan Ren Chang Jiu". Me and my friends were drown in the beautiful melody. Suprisingly, a malay played a song with a chinese musical instrutment. Guess which instrutment he used? It was the zither.
But most importantly, we went to support my friend who sang a duet. Beautiful.
I was glad i didn't miss this performance. Another beautiful chapter in my "Book".
